Our eye exams go beyond vision correction. With the help of our diagnostic technology, we can detect early signs of eye disease, monitor eye health over time, and deliver more personalized care.
Here’s some of the technology we use at our Saskatoon clinic:
- ZEISS Clarus Wide Field Retinal Camera: Captures ultra-wide, high-definition images of your retina, often without dilation, helping us detect diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and more.
- ZEISS Cirrus 5000 OCT: Provides detailed cross-sectional images of the retina and optic nerve, essential for glaucoma and retinal disease monitoring.
- ZEISS IOLMaster 500: Used exclusively for myopia control assessments, this tool measures the axial length of the eye, which is essential for understanding how a child’s myopia is progressing.
- Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer: Assesses peripheral (side) vision to monitor conditions like glaucoma and neurological disorders.
This technology helps us deliver more accurate diagnoses, proactive treatment plans, and ultimately, better patient outcomes.
